As a Senior Planner, you will be at the forefront of transportation planning projects that enhance mobility, safety, and multimodal connections across our region. Your work will directly impact millions of residents, making their daily lives better.
- Lead Transformation: Take the lead on transportation planning initiatives, driving positive change throughout the region.
- Scopes of Work: Develop clear project scopes, ensuring alignment with our goals.
- Team Management: Collaborate with internal and external teams to achieve project success.
- Data Insights: Utilize tools like Excel and ArcGIS to analyze data, uncover trends, and inform decision‑making.
- Report Excellence: Contribute to high‑quality reports and project recommendations.
- Broad Expertise: Assist with diverse subjects, including freight, active transportation, resiliency, safety, and Regional Transportation Plan (RTP).
- Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate stakeholder involvement and public participation.
- Budget and Timeline: Manage project budgets and timelines effectively.
- Transportation Insight: A solid understanding of transportation planning principles.
- Project Execution: Experience in sub‑regional, corridor, regional, or access management planning.

Skilled at consensus‑building and identifying key stakeholders. - Public Engagement: Proficient in facilitating and executing public involvement activities.
- Project Leadership: Strong project management, communication, and presentation skills.
- ArcGIS Familiarity: Comfortable using ArcGIS software.
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable academic discipline or related field of study.
- Minimum of 5 years working with local government, nonprofit programs, or in similar job‑related duties.
