We are searching for an exceptional professional, detailed oriented with strong analytical and interpersonal skills to perform the role of the Maintenance Planner/Coordinator who will be responsible for administering the Maintenance work process to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant equipment. This role will manage work notifications, plan and schedule maintenance activities, and oversee spare parts inventory to support continuous plant operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, technical knowledge of industrial equipment, and experience with SAP or similar CMMS systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work Order Management:
    • Review maintenance notifications in SAP and convert them into work orders.
    • Ensure work orders contain accurate scope, priority, and required resources.
  • Planning & Scheduling:
    • Develop detailed job plans including labor, materials, tools, and safety requirements.
    • Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to schedule work efficiently.
    • Maintain a rolling forecast of planned work to optimize resource utilization.
  • Materials & Spare Parts Management:
    • Ensure all required parts and materials are available prior to job execution.
    • Set up and maintain MRO spare parts in SAP, including accurate descriptions and equipment associations.
    • Monitor inventory levels and adjust based on established minimum/maximum thresholds.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
    • Support reliability initiatives and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Compliance & Safety:
    • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience in maintenance planning or coordination within a chemical, petrochemical, or manufacturing environment.
    • Proficiency in SAP PM or similar CMMS systems.
    • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals.

Additional Information

  • Work Environment:
    Plant-based role with occasional exposure to industrial hazards; appropriate PPE required.
  • Schedule:

    Full‑time, Monday–Friday with occasional overtime during shutdowns or emergencies.
