Based in Houston, the Technical Field Advisor (Rotating Equipment Specialist) is a customer-facing role responsible for supporting the installation, commissioning, overhaul, and troubleshooting of critical rotating equipment at customer sites within the Oil, Gas, and Energy industries.
This is a full-time position involving extensive travel and on-site work at customer locations across North America, including Canada. Occasional support of overseas projects may also be required.

What you will do- Provide after-sales field services under the direction of the Field Service Manager
- Perform installation, commissioning, overhaul, and troubleshooting of critical rotating equipment at customer sites within the Oil, Gas and Energy industries
- Represent the OEM in the role of Technical Field Advisor (TFA)
- Generate detailed and technically sound Field Service Reports
- Support planning and preparation activities for assigned jobs and major plant outages
- Assist in the preparation of technical proposals for Field Service projects and major plant outages
- 8+ years of experience in rotating equipment role
- Experience working with OEMs or independent service providers in the Oil & Gas or Energy industry
- Strong working knowledge of steam turbines and centrifugal compressors
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering is a plus but not required; relevant experience with rotating equipment in field service is essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Project)
- Self-driven and service-oriented
- Strong team collaboration and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication skills – written and spoken
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
