Job Summary As a Technical Trainer II, he/she will deliver technical training to our customers and employees on our current and legacy products, to ensure our students acquire the skills and knowledge for the applicable products. He/she will be responsible for the delivery and continuous improvement of high-quality learning material, design and develop courseware, including lesson plans, manuals, instructional materials, and testing.
Continually explore new technologies and methods to improve our effectiveness and the efficiency of our training programs.
- Instruct and train customers and employees on current and legacy products at both TIC and remote locations.
- Schedule and conduct Webinars and Virtual Learning Events to support sales and distribution.
- Maintain training equipment and manuals.
- Design and develop courseware, including lesson plans, schedules, manuals, instructional materials, and testing.
- Travel: 25-50%
- Hand tools, electronic test equipment
- 2-year Technical degree required, or equivalent military training.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Background/Experience with Adjustable Speed drives a plus.
- Electronics/Electrical experience required.
- 4 - 6 years of training experience to include course creation;
Microsoft Office product experience - Intermediate (minimum) Experience with Course creation software, such as Adobe Captivate;
Articulate a plus.
- Customer sites, plant facilities, normal office environment, electrical and mechanical hazards
- 50 lb. lifting minimum, standing extended periods of time
