The Manufacturing Specialist III provides technical systems manufacturing development and support as part of the Manufacturing Operations team. The position is a role with strong initial focus on technical support systems processes and continuous compliance and efficiency improvements.
Key responsibilities include:- Utilizing initiative and independent judgment to develop, implement, qualify and improve complex engineering systems
- Performing troubleshooting encompassing multiple variables and unknowns to achieve streamlined processes
- Leading and engaging teams in developing upgrades, ranging from evaluations through implementation
- Developing new process and workstation designs to reduce cycle time and support the lean manufacturing initiatives
- Participate in new product introductions through system layout, tool upgrades, and new equipment Interaction with employees and management to design and conduct training strategies
- Ownership of business objectives, including delivery, multi-generational upgrades, and strategic deployment
- Lead Compliance, as well as Environmental, Health & Safety efforts in support of plant goals Providing technical assistance remotely or in person to manufacturing users of systems
- Employing data analysis to improve established processes and metrics
