- Develop advanced hydrologic and hydraulic models for stormwater and flood control projects.
- Design and evaluate flood conveyance systems, detention facilities, and drainage infrastructure.
- Lead projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, project updates, and invoices.
- Build strong client relationships and support business development.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers to support their professional growth.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple office locations.
- Provide advanced modeling solutions and analysis for both public and private sector projects.
- Conduct 1D/2D watershed hydrologic analysis for master planning and flood control designs.
- Organize, write, and edit proposals, reports, and documentation.
- Identify and pursue new clients and business opportunities.
- Oversee and manage junior staff on project assignments.
- Coordinate with teams across different locations and disciplines as needed.
- Maintain professional communication with clients, contractors, staff, and supervisors.
- Contribute to internal and external technical presentations and publications.
- Perform additional duties as requested.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering;
Master's preferred. - Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license (required).
- Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) credential.
- At least 6 years of civil/site design experience focused on water resources.
- Expertise in stormwater management, drainage design, H&H modeling, and SWPPP.
- Proficient with HEC-HMS, ARC-MAP, SWMM, HEC-RAS, and ArcGIS.
- Strong communication skills for effective client and team interactions.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D;
Open Roads experience a plus. - Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of local land use regulations and permitting.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for fieldwork and meetings.
