Position OverviewThe Product Project Engineer will report directly to the Director of Product Management and play a key role in leading product‑related projects from concept through delivery. This is a fast‑paced, hands‑on role within a small, collaborative team environment.
The ideal candidate has a mechanical background, strong project ownership, and a business‑oriented mindset. This person must be highly responsive, organized, and comfortable working across time zones, including occasional evening calls with overseas suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead product development and project execution initiatives
- Manage timelines, technical requirements, and cross‑functional coordination
- Evaluate product costing and support pricing strategy
- Prepare and send proposals to the sales team
- Work closely with engineering, operations, and overseas suppliers
- Support customer inquiries and provide technical guidance as needed
- Contribute ideas around product positioning and value‑added services
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 2–4 years of relevant experience
- Strong mechanical foundation with project management exposure
- Experience in motors, HVAC, pumps, commercial kitchen equipment, or similar industries preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong communication skills; comfortable in a somewhat customer‑facing role
- Willingness to work flexible hours when needed due to overseas suppliers
- Mandarin speaking is a strong plus
