About HoustonExxon Mobil's state-of-the-art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. The facility opened in 2014 and accommodates more than 10,000 employees and visitors.

By Joining the Active Materials and Process Team with Exxon Mobil Technology and Engineering Company, you will be an integral technical contributor to process development and scale-up programs applying your skills in fluid dynamics, transport phenomena, and computational modeling to solve process development, scale-up, and unit design problems critical to developing new process technologies from conceptual ideas to commercial scale deployment.
What you will do- Develop and apply fluid dynamics and transport phenomena models to guide the development and design of new process technologies with applications across all Exxon Mobil Companies:
Upstream, Product Solutions, and Low Carbon Solutions. - Work collaboratively as part of a cross-discipline team complementing expertise in fundamental and pilot plant experimentation, process engineering, and equipment design with your expertise in applied and computational fluid dynamics and transport phenomena. Though this role will be modeling focused, you will contribute to experimental design and execution.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in topics related to fluid dynamics, transport phenomena, and CFD to the global research and process engineering communities.
- Develop and maintain advanced computational fluid dynamics and transport phenomena modeling capabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- PhD in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline with relevant thesis work.
