Civil Engineer

Site/Civil Engineer (Land Development) — Houston, TX

Full-time | In-office/Hybrid (as applicable)

A multi-office civil engineering & environmental consulting firm is expanding its Houston land development team and hiring a Site/Civil Engineer
. You’ll support the design and permitting of site/civil and infrastructure projects across a mix of asset types—commercial, residential, mixed-use, campus/institutional, and public-sector work—while working in a collaborative, fast-learning environment.

• Preparation of engineering deliverables such as reports, specs, plans, schedules, and cost estimates
• Use of mapping and technical data (surveys, aerials, geotechnical and hydrologic inputs) to support design decisions
• Coordination with project teams to keep tasks moving and deliverables aligned
• Exposure to permitting workflows (local/state/federal experience is a plus)

• BS in Civil Engineering
• EIT required
  ; PE preferred
• 3+ years of site/civil design experience (grading, drainage/stormwater, erosion control, site planning)
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD + Civil 3D
• Clear communication skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to work well on a team
