Juniper Security Engineer

The Juniper Security Engineer will provide hands-on management and maintenance of various Juniper security technologies that need to be integrated into the corporate environment as a result of acquisition.

Responsibilities :

• Integrate a Juniper environment with an existing Cisco environment.
• Perform daily management and maintenance of :
• Juniper SRX
  240 Routing Firewalls
• SSL VPN
• Switching and routing
• Work with all application teams to ensure that the rules they need to work on the firewall are submitted and documented properly.
• Responsible for documentation of all firewall rules in the enterprise.
• Collaborate with Information Security in mitigation and remediation of all firewall audit findings.
• Ensure Operational teams are following configuration guidelines.

Qualifications :

• Experience commensurate with 4+ years :
• Hands-on experience administering Juniper SRX 240 routing firewalls and VPN.
• Experience with Juniper Network Security Manager (NSM).
• Expertise in routing protocols over VPN and NATing.
• Advanced log analysis, network monitoring, network flow analysis, packet capture analysis, network proxies, firewalls.
• Solid knowledge of all core internet protocols (e.g., TCP / IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, etc).
• Process and detail-oriented.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with SRX and SSG Netscreens and SAs for remote access is nice to have.

Desired Education :

High School or equivalent, Bachelors degree preferred.
