Role: Network Engineer
Location: Houston, TX
Pay Range: $80,000- $95,000 / year
Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401(k).
- Support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure to ensure reliability, performance, and security
- Monitor network availability and troubleshoot escalated incidents and service requests
- Configure, install, and support network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
- Assist with network upgrades, expansions, and infrastructure improvement projects
- Implement and maintain network security controls and access policies
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and performance optimization
- Document network configurations, diagrams, and troubleshooting procedures
- Follow change management standards and collaborate with internal teams and vendors
Qualifications
- Experience in network engineering or infrastructure support
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, security, and wireless technologies
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience
- Industry-recognized networking certification preferred
