Position Overview:

The Sr. Customer Project Manager leads end-to-end execution of customer projects from order intake through commissioning and handover. Serving as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, this role translates customer requirements into coordinated execution across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and service, ensuring successful delivery, schedule adherence, and customer satisfaction.

This position is based on-site in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities:
  • Own full lifecycle execution of customer projects valued between US $20–50 million, from order intake through delivery, installation, commissioning, and contractual handover, ensuring alignment between customers and internal cross‑functional teams
  • Serve as the primary customer point of contact, managing expectations, communication, and issue resolution throughout the project
  • Lead and coordinate cross‑functional project teams, including Engineering, Product Fulfillment, Supply Chain, Finance, Logistics, Quality, Service, and Construction/Site teams
  • Manage projects involving non-standard equipment, balance‑of‑plant scope, installation activities, NPI products, and turnkey or semi‑turnkey solutions
  • Coordinate with EPC partners, engineering firms, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure scope alignment and execution readiness
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and risk plans, ensuring delivery within contractual time, cost, and quality constraints
  • Monitor project progress, resolve dependencies and risks, and manage critical path activities in collaboration with project controls and scheduling resources
  • Lead contract, claim, and change management, including commercial and technical negotiation of scope changes during execution
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements, partnering with Quality and HSE teams on issue resolution
  • Deliver clear and professional project reporting, including status updates, forecasts, customer presentations, and internal stakeholder communications
  • Support customer site visits and field execution activities as required, ensuring strong alignment between office‑based planning and site execution
  • Monitor and maintain ERP system data for accurate material tracking and planning
  • Track and report KPIs related to material readiness, fulfillment accuracy, and cost efficiency
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering—Mechanical, Electrical, or a closely related technical discipline
  • Ten (10) + years of project management experience delivering complex customer projects within power generation, energy, oil & gas, or industrial equipment environments
  • Proven experience delivering order‑to‑execution customer projects, including scheduling, cost control, and risk management, with demonstrated success managing complex, customer‑facing projects and on‑site execution activities
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi‑disciplinary teams across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and field service
  • Experienced with using ERP systems for material tracking and planning, Oracle desired
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office:
    Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook
  • Willingness to travel domestically for assigned projects; internationally occasionally as business demands
