Job Description
- The Project Controller is responsible for establishing and maintaining an integrated project control system covering schedule, cost, and risk management.
- This role provides accurate performance reporting, supports proactive issue resolution, and ensures alignment across all project disciplines.
- The position also leads and mentors the project controls team to maintain high standards of accuracy, transparency, and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Establish and maintain an integrated project control system for schedule, cost, and risk.
- Provide accurate and timely performance data to support decision‑making.
- Identify deviations early and implement corrective actions before impacting delivery.
- Lead and mentor the project controls team to ensure consistency and accountability.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to maintain project alignment and transparency.
- 18+ years of experience in project controls within large‑scale construction or industrial projects.
- Strong expertise in cost control, planning and scheduling, and earned value management.
- Proven experience in performance reporting and data‑driven decision‑making.
- Demonstrated leadership managing multidisciplinary project controls teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field.
- Develop and maintain the integrated project baseline covering schedule, cost, and progress measurement.
- Prepare and lead regular project performance reports including cost forecasts, schedule updates, and variance analyses.
- Ensure alignment and accuracy across planning, cost control, and risk management functions.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain and Engineering to maintain realistic procurement and construction forecasts.
- Oversee change management processes, ensuring scope variations are properly captured, costed, and approved.
- Monitor contractor performance and validate reported progress against field data and milestones.
- Support project risk reviews, contingency assessments, and recovery planning.
- Provide training and guidance to project control engineers and schedulers to foster continuous improvement.
- Experience delivering large‑scale data center facilities for major technology clients.
- Professional certifications such as AACE CCP, PSP, or PMI‑SP.
- Experience with Primavera P6 and advanced Excel or Power BI reporting tools.
- Advanced cost control and forecasting capabilities.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Leadership and team development abilities.
- Excellent communication and cross‑functional coordination skills.
- Primarily site‑based role on active construction projects.
- Requires close coordination with field teams and participation in project meetings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related discipline required.
