Job Description & How to Apply Below
We are seeking qualified applicants with substantial exposure to geotechnical engineering. This field carries some of the highest liabilities, so judgment must be exercised with the utmost discretion.

For candidates with less than five years of direct geotechnical experience, a master's degree (to ensure the necessary theoretical understanding) and a PE license are vital. Our most prestigious work involves ports, highways, and the world's largest medical district-projects where only those with a deep technical understanding can succeed.
About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Houston, TX. The role involves managing projects from start to finish, including field operations, lab testing, analysis, and client communication. The ideal candidate will have experience with foundation systems, slope stability, settlement analysis, and environmental studies, along with a strong technical background in geotechnical engineering.

CLIENT SPECIAL NOTE :
We are indeed looking for a geotechnical project engineer-someone with extensive experience in this field who is comfortable managing a project from start to finish. This includes preparing proposals for clients, coordinating with drillers, checking samples, assigning tests, doing UC's, inputting boring logs, and completing reports-all in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare geotechnical reports and Phase I/II environmental recommendations
  • Oversee and coordinate drilling operations and laboratory testing
  • Analyze soil properties and lab test data for project design and reporting
  • Provide engineering recommendations for low- and high-rise buildings, bridges, industrial facilities, and retaining walls
  • Perform slope stability, settlement, lateral load, and bearing capacity analyses
  • Design pavement structures and foundation systems (spread footings, auger cast piles, driven piles, drilled piers, etc.)
  • Conduct Phase I environmental and preliminary fault studies
  • Support construction inspections and project delivery
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal staff throughout project lifecycle
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required);
    Master's in Geotechnical Engineering (preferred)
  • 2-5 years of geotechnical engineering experience
  • Texas PE license preferred (or in progress)
  • Strong knowledge of soil properties, testing methods, and lab procedures
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and geotechnical engineering software
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and outside standard 8-5 hours as required
  • Must pass drug test, background check, and maintain a valid driving record
Benefits
  • Competitive salary with performance-based incentives
  • 401(k) with company matching
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Career growth opportunities in a dynamic engineering environment
