The Technical Advisor – Well Service Products is a customer-facing technical expert responsible for supporting UTEX well service packing products in the field. This role focuses on troubleshooting, performance optimization, and hands‑on customer support to improve product reliability, reduce downtime, and drive customer satisfaction and sales growth. This position plays a critical role in strengthening customer relationships, improving product performance, and increasing trust in UTEX sealing solutions within the well service and pressure pumping markets.

• Serve as the primary technical liaison between UTEX and customers to ensure well service products meet operational needs.
• Provide on‑site troubleshooting and performance optimization for well service packing products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with frac, pressure pumping, and well service companies.
• Deliver hands‑on training and guidance to customer field personnel on proper installation, maintenance, and failure prevention.
• Conduct on‑site inspections and performance assessments to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Diagnose common failure modes (e.g., improper installation, lubrication issues, material degradation) and recommend preventative maintenance solutions.
• Collaborate with customer maintenance teams to implement best practices for installation, lubrication, and sealing techniques.
• Support sales efforts by providing technical expertise that drives product adoption and customer retention.

• Strong technical background in well service, pressure pumping, sealing systems, or related oilfield applications.
• Proven experience troubleshooting mechanical or sealing‑related issues in field environments.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to customers and field personnel.
• Strong relationship‑building and customer service skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, field‑oriented role.

• High school diploma or GED, combined with significant hands‑on experience in an oilfield services role, pressure pumping, or fluid end maintenance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in an oilfield services role, pressure pumping, well service operations, or fluid end maintenance required.
• Hands‑on knowledge of fluid ends, frac pumps, and high‑pressure pumping systems required.
• Proven experience troubleshooting, diagnosing failures, and optimizing the performance of fluid ends required.
