**** Equipment Lifecycle Management:
Take full responsibility for the specification, selection, procurement, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical equipment, especially rotating/compression equipment, ensuring it meets project and process requirements. Lead RCAs efficiently. Work with site staff and the reliability team to develop and implement strategies that maximize uptime of the equipment. Be a lead on troubleshooting issues with rotating equipment during operation, including with vendors/OEMs/etc.
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* 10+ years of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or chemical processing environment.
* Working knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (Section VIII, Div.
1) and Process Piping code (B31.3).
* Demonstrated experience with industrial rotating equipment and mechanical systems.
* Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate cross-functional teams
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Proven “hands-on” mechanical and troubleshooting ability
* Experience in environmental sustainability industry such as biogas, renewable energy or waste treatment
* Working knowledge of commercial agreements and customer relations.
* Ability to travel (up to 40%)
* Work in industrial environments
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
* Able to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and has the strategic agility to adapt to changing priorities
* Direct design and operational experience with centrifugal blowers, oil-flooded screw compressors, and/or industrial mixers.
* Experience in project engineering or project management, including cost and schedule management.
* Familiarity with the gas processing, oil and gas, or chemical industries.
* Military technical training
* Knowledge of industrial gases and pipeline safety preferred
* The ability to lift 1-50 pounds regularly.
* The ability to respond quickly to alarms.
* The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in restricted spaces.
* The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations.
