Houston-based candidates only. This role is on‑site and does not offer relocation or sponsorship.Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership on gas turbine–based power generation projects.
- Support engineering design, troubleshooting, commissioning, and performance optimization.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams across multiple projects.
- Coordinate with project management, commercial, and field teams.
- Review and approve technical documentation, drawings, and calculations.
- Support proposal development and technical bid evaluations.
- Interface with OEMs, vendors, and clients for technical alignment.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Participate in root cause analysis and failure investigations.
- Support site visits, audits, and performance assessments when required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in gas turbine engineering.
- Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of power generation systems.
- Experience working with aeroderivative and/or heavy‑duty gas turbines.
- Knowledge of balance of plant systems.
- Strong communication and client‑facing skills.
- Ability to work full‑time in Houston, TX.
- Experience supporting EPC or long‑term O&M projects.
- Experience with OEM platforms (GE, Siemens, etc.).
- PE license (preferred but not required).
- Experience supporting multi‑MW utility‑scale or industrial plants.
