Site Safety Representative

Job Description

Shirley Parsons is currently recruiting a Bilingual Construction Site Safety Representative for a project in Houston, TX.

The candidate must have extensive experience in construction safety experience in an industrial setting. The position comes with travel assistance and extensive overtime and per diem. Short term 2-3 month contract.

• Develop, manage, and implement appropriate health and safety procedures in accordance with federal, state, local, and corporate requirements.
• Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments, and other safety assessments.
• Manage and perform activities to ensure compliance with the site EHS program.
• Participate in detailed incident investigation teams to determine root causes and corrective and preventive actions.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or a related degree preferred
• CHST Preferred, OSHA 500 and/or 510 preferred.
• 4+ years of EHS experience in a construction environment preferred
• Strong communication skills, and ability to engage with employees at all levels.
