Entry-level Fire Protection Engineer

Overview

Coffman Engineers Houston office is growing and we re looking for an entry-level Fire Protection Engineer who is passionate about their craft and seeking an environment that promotes professional growth.

• Support the Fire Protection Department in providing clients with automatic suppression system design; fire detection, alarm and mass notification system design; code analysis; egress analysis; fire resistant construction analysis; smoke control analysis; as well as general fire protection and life safety concepts and research.

• Bachelor s degree (B.S.) in engineering from an accredited college or university;
  Fire Protection specific degree preferred.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
• 0-3 years of experience.
• Experience working in AutoCAD and/or REVIT preferred.
• General building construction knowledge preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work on a high-functioning team.
