Air Quality Consultant

We’re seeking an Air Quality Consultant to perform onsite permitting, monitoring, inspections, and other compliance tasks. You’ll contribute your experience and knowledge to our Air Quality Compliance team. Based out of our Houston office, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with local and global experts and ensure Jacobs provides best‑practice solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and deliver high‑quality reports and presentations to clients’ technical and senior leadership. Apply technical experience to develop delivery strategies and grow client relationships while championing safety, quality and the well‑being of your team. Promote Jacobs’ solutions and technologies to internal and external stakeholders. Travel daily to local client sites and occasionally to workshops, presentations or site visits.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering (or related science field with sufficient air program experience).
- Minimum five years of experience with Title V permit compliance and air quality consulting; TCEQ non‑attainment area regulations;
Asbestos NESHAP control and management requirements; and ODS requirements. - Effective verbal and written communication with clients, contractors, and teammates.
- Proven organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations and regulatory processes.
- Ability to be on local client site daily and travel up to 25%.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Professional Engineer or Project Management Professional (PE or PMP) or ability to obtain and maintain.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous development and active engagement in professional networks, company communities of practice groups, or similar.
- Familiarity with representing clients to stakeholders, including regulatory agencies.

SalaryThe base salary range for this position is $66,300.00 to $. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
