Estimator​/Inside Sales

Position Summary

The Estimator/Inside Sales professional is responsible for supporting the sales and engineering teams by developing accurate cost estimates and preparing competitive proposals. This role involves gathering and analyzing data from internal departments, vendors, and historical records to ensure precise project costing.

• Gather and analyze data from internal departments, vendors, and historical job records to develop detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, travel, and related expenses
• Prepare, format, and submit professional bids and sales proposals
• Collaborate closely with sales and engineering teams to support project development and execution
• Utilize Excel and internal analytical tools to perform calculations and pricing analysis
• Maintain accurate estimating records and track actual costs versus estimates
• Ensure a high level of accuracy through strong attention to detail and mathematical proficiency
• Assist with improving estimating and sales processes and procedures
• Support procurement by assisting with requisitioning components and materials for awarded projects

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or similar)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Full-time, in-office position located in Houston (Aldine area)
