Key Responsibilities
- DCS Maintenance including
- Hardware Components
- Software Components
- Field Troubleshooting of common IO and Loop Problems
- Field Troubleshooting of End Devices
- Adding and Deletion of TAGS/Points
- Adding and Modifying Logic as per standard
- Configure, maintain, and solve Honeywell hardware and software issues including:
Experion PKS, other DCS hardware/software such as LCN, TPS. Having PLC and Safety System knowledge will be an added advantage. - Provide service related to the upgrades and migrations of the DCS
- Learn the end-to-end product/solution development and delivery/execution of Honeywell products and solutions
- Troubleshooting Network Connections of Ethernet and Coaxial Cabling
- Modifying and editing HMI Graphics
- Focal Point for Honeywell with the customer on providing technical solutions
- Company vehicle will be provided to travel to company sites
- Due to the nature of this discipline, on occasion, maybe required to work off-hours, on weekends, and/or holidays
- Travel: up to 75+%
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical/Engineering Field
- At least 2 years prior field experience in supporting Honeywell Distributed Control Systems, including EPKS and TPN Systems.
- A minimum of two L3 Honeywell DCS Certifications or for outside candidates you must be able to obtain them within 12 months
- Ability to learn new technologies and disciplines
- Customer Service Skills
- Valid Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to Honeywell
- Experience with Experion PKS Hardware & Software, in addition to Hiway, TDC, & TPS system experience including LCN, UCN along with PC/Networking experience.
- 3rd Party controls experience.
- Experience in Virtualization hardware/software, setup and network configuration
- Networking, Cyber Security: design, implementation, configuration, diagnostics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to clearly articulate messages both technical and non-technical.
- Experience & Training in Honeywell Applications such as:
- TPS / PMIO.
- EPKS / Series C.
- Safety Systems (FSC/SM).
- HMI.
- SCADA (PLCSs, Ladder Logic etc.).
- Be self-motivated and willing to work in demanding environments with little or no supervision and take initiative to be proactive.

This role is based at Houston, TX with candidate readiness to relocate to South Texas if required.
