Staff Engineer will be responsible for engineering design and analysis of steel, concrete, and wood structures. This position requires the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow up with team members to finalize projects in a timely manner.
Essential Skills And Experience- EIT certification required
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering required
- Strong background in steel, concrete, and wood structural design required
- Experience with MathCAD preferred
- Lattice tower analysis and design experience preferred
- Experience with STAAD preferred
- Familiarity with AutoCAD preferred
- Ability to travel to sites to obtain field data
- Ability to create clear and detailed field sketches and notes
- Strong written and oral communication skills required
- Engineering design, analysis, and review of new or existing structures
- Perform structural calculations as needed for design and analysis of structures
- Make field visits to obtain necessary data
- Guide design drafters on engineering drawings
- Produce structural details in CAD
- Conduct quality control reviews of drawings
- Perform other engineering tasks as assigned
