We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join our team working on advanced E‑House electrical solutions across large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and integration of LV/MV electrical systems within industries such as Oil & Gas, Utilities, Power Systems, and Data Centers.
This role requires strong technical expertise, coordination abilities, and commitment to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Execute commissioning activities for LV/MV electrical systems and equipment including switch gear, transformers, MCCs, VFDs, UPS systems, generators, and protection relays.
- Perform FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), SAT (Site Acceptance Test), loop checks, insulation resistance tests, and protection testing.
- Conduct primary and secondary injection testing for electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and integration issues during commissioning and startup phases.
- Review electrical drawings, SLDs, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical datasheets.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, QA/QC, HSE, vendors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
- Prepare commissioning procedures, test reports, punch lists, and handover documentation.
- Ensure all commissioning activities comply with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Support project execution to ensure timely and successful delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in electrical commissioning and testing.
- Strong understanding of LV/MV electrical systems and industrial power distribution.
- Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and NETA standards.
- Experience working in industrial plants, oil & gas facilities, utilities, power systems, or data centers.
- Hands‑on experience with testing equipment such as IR testers, relay test kits, Hi‑Pot testers, and multimeters.
- Ability to read and interpret complex electrical drawings and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and coordination skills.
- NETA Level II / III / IV
- PMP Certification
- PE License (Texas preferred)
- OSHA 30
- NFPA 70E
