ROSEN is looking for a HSE Coordinator that will be based in Houston, TX. This position reports directly to the Head of HSE and will be a part of the HSE team.

What role you will play in our team?

As an HSE Coordinator, you will support leadership in communicating and implementing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs across the organization. You will use your experience to drive compliance, strengthen our safety and environmental culture, and support both daily operations and long-term business goals. This role requires a strong field presence and regular engagement with shop, office, and contractor personnel.

Responsibilities:

What will I be doing?

• Administer HSE training programs, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with job-, site-, and client-specific requirements, including emergency response drills and PPE standards.

• Maintain and analyze HSE metrics (injury/illness rates, vehicle incidents, exposure hours) and prepare reports for leadership, clients, and regulatory bodies.

• Support development and implementation of environmental programs including waste management, spill prevention and environmental impact mitigation.

• Conduct routine field visits to active worksites to observe work practices, verify compliance, perform behavioral-based safety engagements, and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Partner with field supervisors to review JSAs, verify controls, and reinforce safe work practices.

• Support with client HSE compliance platforms (ISNetworld, PEC, Avetta, Veriforce), complete safety questionnaires, and support client audits and field verifications.

• Assist with maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA, EPA, USDOT, and state environmental agencies).

• Conduct incident and near-miss investigations, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.

• Maintain OSHA logs, and support injury/illness case management and return-to-work efforts.

• Support with DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing programs, coordinate testing, maintain required records, and ensure driver/vehicle compliance with USDOT regulations.

• Participate in and lead internal and external HSE audits, including OSHA, USDOT, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

• Support HSE reviews for contracts, bids, and proposals to ensure alignment with company and client expectations.

What are we looking for?

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in HSE within industrial, construction, energy, or related environments.

• Working knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations, including OSHA, DOT, EPA, and other relevant regulatory bodies

• Experience working with and maintaining management systems aligned with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.

• Strong personal commitment to working safely, supporting all HSE initiatives, and fostering a healthy, incident-free workplace across all operations.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with leadership, field personnel, and employees at all organizational levels to ensure consistent understanding of HSE expectations, policies, and procedures.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
