- * Proficiency/knowledge in programming languages such as Python, C++, and ROS.
* Strong understanding of control systems, kinematics, and embedded systems.
* Familiarity with sensors used in oil & gas robotics (e.g., ultrasonic, inductive proximity, LiDAR,
pressure).
* Ability to work in field conditions and travel to remote sites as needed.
* Hands-on Knowledge of ROS Industrial 2.0, RViz, Move It, etc.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Design and develop robotic systems tailored for oil & gas drilling and pipe-handling applications.
* Integrate sensors and control systems for autonomous drilling and pipe-handling, manipulation,
and data acquisition.
* Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to prototype and test robotic control solutions for drilling and
pipe-handling operations.
* Develop software for real-time control, telemetry, and remote operation of robotic platforms.
* Conduct field trials and validation tests in simulated and live oil & gas environments.
* Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and environmental regulations.
* Analyze performance data and optimize robotic systems for safety, reliability and efficiency.
* Document engineering processes, test results, and system configurations.
Salary Range: $100,000-$135,000 a year
