Environmental Project Manager

Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions, is actively seeking an Environmental Project Manager to join our Environmental team in Houston, Texas. This is a great opportunity to develop a versatile career in environmental consulting.

• Perform environmental services including Phase I and II environmental site assessments (ESAs).
• Collect soil and groundwater samples.
• Assist in assessment, remediation, and field observation documentation.
• Provide industrial hygiene services, including asbestos, indoor air quality, and lead surveys.
• Prepare technical proposals and reports.
• Communicate with clients and regulators to keep projects moving and on schedule.
• Self‑manage and make decisions during all phases of a project.
• Manage and control project budgets and build solid relationships with clients.

Monday – Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (may vary). Travel up to 20% of the time depending on project load/location.

• BS in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related field.
• 2+ years of proven technical environmental consulting with Phase I ESAs and/or asbestos inspection experience.
• Current, valid Texas Asbestos License.
• Ability to perform tasks in varying field/office conditions.
• Computer literate and able to operate field/office equipment related to discipline.
• Strong technical proposal and report writing abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.
