Based in Houston, the Rotating Equipment Engineer – Field Support Engineer plays a key role in supporting field operations across all project phases. This hands‑on role combines development of LASER measurement technology with management of technical documentation systems.

As part of a growing company, this position offers a clear path toward future leadership. We’re looking for a proactive engineer eager to innovate, drive improvements, and help shape the tools and processes that support our expanding Field Service operations. Occasional travel to job sites is expected to provide on‑site support and stay connected with field realities.

What you will do
  • Lead Advanced Measurement Technology (AMT) activities, including operation of the Laser Tracker
  • Maintain and improve technical documentation and reporting templates
  • Support project planning, execution, and close‑out activities
  • Review and finalize Field Service job reports
  • Conduct technical training for Field Service personnel
  • Manage and maintain AST tooling systems
  • Collaborate closely with Field Service, Tooling, Engineering teams
  • In close cooperation with the Swiss headquarters, manage the technical quality programs for US operations and drive continuous initiatives
What makes you the ideal fit
  • 5 or more years of experience in a similar support or Field Service Engineering role
  • Experience working with OEMs or independent service providers in the Oil & Gas or Energy industry
  • Strong working knowledge of steam turbines and centrifugal compressors
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Project)
  • Self‑driven and service-oriented
  • Strong team collaboration and organizational abilities
  • Excellent communication skills – written and spoken
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
