Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes aligned with AS9100/AS9110 standards.
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and production processes to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead nonconformance investigations using structured problem‑solving methods (5

  • Define, track, and analyze quality metrics; recommend and implement performance improvements.
  • Support First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9145 and PPAP requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Conduct internal audits and support external audits (customer, regulatory, certification bodies).
  • Develop inspection plans, quality control procedures, and risk assessments.
  • Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) processes and provide disposition recommendations.
  • Train production staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and continuous improvement practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Aerospace, or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with FAI, nonconformance management, and corrective action methodologies.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and GD&T.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.

Preferred Requirements:

  • ASQ CQE, CQA, or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.
  • Experience with APQP, PPAP, and SPC.
  • Familiarity with supply chain quality processes and supplier audits.
  • ERP/ MES experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Experience in a high‑mix, low‑volume aerospace environment.
