Sr. Geotechnical Engineer – In Office (Houston, TX) Summary

ATSER is a leading engineering firm in Houston. We specialize in infrastructure consulting. The company was founded 30 years ago. We have major long-term projects and we are seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer.

• Technical oversight of geotechnical engineering.
• Manage all aspects of geotechnical engineering projects including:
  • Preparing proposals
  • Statements of Qualifications (SOQ)
  • Budgets for various projects
• Senior Geotechnical Engineer will attend project meetings and represent ATSER in a positive manner.
• Coordinate field activities including preparing invoices, updating internal financial reports (Pulse) and submitting and executing purchase requisitions.
• Ensure that projects are adequately staffed, personnel are properly trained, and projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Mentor and train laboratory technicians.
• Provides excellent customer service to owners, internal and external customers.
• Promotes safety awareness and follows safety procedures to reduce or eliminate accidents.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Masters Preferred)
• Must have a Registered Professional Engineering License in Texas
• Minimum 4 years of geotechnical engineering experience or Engineer in Training
• Registered Professional Engineer in Texas mandatory
• Knowledge of geotechnical analysis programs
• CAD experience
