Stormwater / H&H Modeler
Location: Houston, TX
Overview
We are partnering with a civil engineering team seeking a Stormwater / H&H Modeler to support land development and municipal projects. This role is focused on technical modeling and analysis, working closely with project teams to deliver high-quality drainage solutions.
This is a strong opportunity for an early-career engineer who enjoys hands-on modeling work and wants to grow into a technical expert while progressing toward licensure.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform stormwater and hydrologic/hydraulic (H&H) modeling for land development and municipal projects
- Complete technical analysis to support project design and delivery
- Work independently on detailed modeling tasks and calculations
- Support project teams across residential and municipal developments
- 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in drainage or H&H modeling
- EIT required; PE preferred or in progress
- Experience with stormwater modeling for land development and/or municipal projects
- Strong technical skills and familiarity with industry modeling tools and concepts
- Ability to work independently and manage detailed modeling work
- Land development and residential projects (200 to 500 acres typical)
- Municipal projects
- Limited commercial work; no transportation-focused projects
- Collaborative and supportive team environment

- Hybrid flexibility with up to two remote days per week
- Schedule typically includes four 9-hour days and a half day on Fridays
- Mentorship and clear career path toward Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager roles
- Support for professional development, including progression toward PE licensure

- Ability to independently run and manage H&H models
