Quality Engineer - Gas Turbine Repair Operations

We are partnering with a growing leader in the aeroderivative gas turbine industry that is expanding its Houston operations and looking to add a Quality Engineer to support repair and MRO operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands‑on in a shop environment and wants to work closely with engineering, operations, repair teams, and supplier quality to improve processes, reduce defects, and support high‑quality turbine repair operations.
This position will support teams responsible for cleaning, inspecting, repairing, and returning gas turbine components to service.
What You'll Be Doing:- Support repair and manufacturing quality operations on the shop floor
- Partner with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations teams to resolve quality issues
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions (RCA/CAPA)
- Manage NCR activity and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Support ISO 9001 and internal QMS compliance
- Work cross‑functionally with suppliers, engineering, and production teams
- Help improve process capability, reduce rejects, and increase operational efficiency
- 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience in manufacturing, repair, or MRO environments
- Experience with ISO 9001, NCRs, RCA/CAPA, and quality systems
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and repair processes
- Gas turbine experience, highly preferred LM2500 and LM6001 backgrounds are a huge plus
- Strong target backgrounds include:
- Gas turbines

- Oil & Gas
- Rotating equipment
- Repair/MRO environments
- Heavy industrial manufacturing
