Senior Project Manager – Public Works

The Public Works Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing and delivering public infrastructure projects while coordinating design efforts, client communication, schedules, and budgets. This role will provide technical guidance to junior staff and support business development initiatives.

• Manage public works projects including roadway, drainage, water, wastewater, and municipal infrastructure improvements
• Provide design guidance and QA/QC review for engineering plans and technical documents
• Coordinate project schedules, budgets, invoicing, and staffing needs
• Serve as primary day-to-day contact for clients and agencies
• Train and mentor EITs and technical staff
• Prepare proposals, scopes of work, fee estimates, and technical reports
• Coordinate with agencies, contractors, utility providers, and subconsultants to facilitate project approvals and construction
• Monitor project progress and communicate status updates to clients and internal leadership
  
  Support business development and maintain strong client relationships

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas
• Minimum 8 years of experience in municipal public works engineering and project management
• Strong knowledge of local agency standards and permitting requirements
• Experience with technical writing and proposal preparation preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
