Package Manager; Engineering

The Equipment Package Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of critical equipment packages within the EPC execution of Floating Production Units (FPUs). This role ensures that all packages are engineered, procured, fabricated, and delivered in compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. The Package Manager acts as the key interface between engineering disciplines, procurement, construction, and vendors.

• Understand scope, specifications, and deliverables for assigned equipment packages.
• Develop and maintain package execution plans, schedules, and reporting.
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines to ensure technical compliance.
• Coordinate preparation of technical requisitions and support procurement in procurement engineering activities.
• Coordinate the review vendor documentation, drawings, and data for compliance.
• Interface with process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and structural teams to ensure provide of Vendor information for design.
• Manage vendor progress, inspections, and factory acceptance tests.
• Track package milestones and resolve technical or logistical issues.
• Support installation, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Act as the focal point for package-related queries across departments.
• Provide regular progress updates and risk assessments to project management.
• Facilitate collaboration between engineering, procurement, and construction teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in equipment package management or project engineering.
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards, codes, and specifications.
• Experience with vendor management and procurement processes.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple packages simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Offshore project execution experience (FPSO/FPU topside modules) is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel for vendor audits, FATs and meetings.
