Position: Spec Engr Reservoir Sr - 010116
Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Reservoir Engineering Specialist to join our Corporate Reserve team. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical foundation in reservoir engineering, a working knowledge of commercial oil and gas economics software, a general understanding of SEC rules and regulations, and the ability to integrate multidisciplinary data to support divisions in optimizing asset performance.

This role requires a self-starter who is detail-oriented, data-driven, highly curious, and capable of transforming complex data into forward-thinking solutions that shape strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities

* SEC reserves estimation and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards

* Prepare and present material necessary for the completion of internal and external technical and process audits

* Collaborate with multi-disciplinary asset teams, corporate planning, and accounting teams to ensure accurate forecasting of volumes and economic inputs for reserve estimation

* Lead initiatives to streamline current workflows and implement innovative solutions that enhance productivity and increase efficiency

* Track and communicate performance metrics for areas of responsibility to support informed decision-making

* Collaborate with corporate technical team and division asset teams to identify and prioritize technical projects for asset optimization

* Perform reservoir engineering analyses including decline curve analysis, material balance, volumetric calculations, pressure transient analysis, rate transient analysis, and nodal analysis to support volume forecasts

* Contribute to reservoir simulation studies and PVT analysis as needed

* Prepare and present reserve reports and technical findings to senior management
