Our client is expanding their controls and smart buildings team and looking for a hands on BMS Controls Engineer to work across some of the most technically demanding projects in the Houston market that includes commercial high-rise, healthcare, industrial, and mission‑critical data centres.
The RoleYou will own the full BMS Controls lifecycle: point-to-point checkout, functional testing, Tridium Niagara configuration, system integration, and client handover. Day-to-day you'll be working alongside mechanical contractors, electrical teams, and project managers to bring complex building automation systems to life and ensure they perform to spec.
What You'll Need To Be Considered- Proven BMS/BAS controls background
- BACnet and/or Modbus integration experience
- Ability to read mechanical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawings
- HVAC knowledge across commercial systems
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel across Houston
- Experience with Johnson Controls, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Distech, or Alerton
- Data centre or mission‑critical commissioning background
- Energy management, analytics, or graphics development experience
- Competitive base salary $80,000 - $90,000
