In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Perform on‑site installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of Emerson Flexim products and systems at customer locations
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues using technical documentation, tools, and best practices
  • Perform field tests, surveys and upgrades of installed systems
  • Provide clear, professional communication to customers regarding findings, solutions, and recommendations
  • Complete service documentation accurately and in a timely manner using digital tools and systems
  • Provide customer service, application support, and product training to end users, technical sales reps and employees
  • Ability to travel with minimal notice
  • Follow all safety, quality, and compliance requirements while working independently or with team members
  • Collaborate with internal partners such as engineering, sales, and technical support to resolve complex issues
  • Communicate and work with the product development team
  • Participate in training and continuous learning opportunities to expand technical capabilities and product knowledge
  • Write training manuals and technical procedures
  • Assist and train newer field service technicians
  • Represent Emerson’s values by delivering dependable service and a positive customer experience

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Hands‑on experience troubleshooting, repairing, or maintaining technical equipment in a field or service environment
  • At least 5 years of work experience in an Instrument and Controls environment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and procedures
  • Comfort working independently at customer sites while staying connected to a broader team
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • A valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as required
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future
  • Individuals with temporary visas such as E, F‑1 (including those with OPT or CPT), H‑1, H‑2, L‑1, B, J or TN, or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, are not eligible for hire.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Experience with industrial, electrical, mechanical, or instrumentation systems
  • Flow measurement experience
  • Familiarity with digital service tools, mobile applications, or computerized maintenance systems
  • Customer‑facing experience in a service or support role
  • Technical certifications, vocational training, or military technical experience
  • Willingness to expand skills through ongoing training and cross‑functional exposure
  • Engineering degree preferred
