New Tech Global is currently seeking a Site Engineering Trainer for a direct hire opportunity near West Houston, TX.

** This role requires 75% travel

Overview

• Ensure a safe work environment that is incident and injury-free for you and those you work with every day so that everyone goes home safe.
• Onboard and train new Site Engineers.
• Provide training for site and office personnel in hydrographic survey, topographic survey, survey and vessel guidance software, productivity suite software and internal Site Engineering policies and procedures.
• Document best practices and update existing documentation.
• Create and upload content on our learning management system.
• Travel to job sites around the gulf and east coast of the US providing SME training. Flexible travel options; however employee will not get to pick location of traveled project work sites.
• Position is Houston based (must be local to Houston, TX); travel as directed/requested for site training & orientations. Typically, expectations is 7 months travel per year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required;
  Bachelors degree in Engineering is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience with survey or marine equipment positioning is required.
• Strong Microsoft software skills, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook is required
• Detail Oriented is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, organization, and communication skills (written and verbal) is required.
• Excellent public speaking and group management skills is required.
• Be able to travel to job sites around the gulf and east coast of the US providing SME training.
• Flexible travel options; however employee will not get to pick location of traveled project work sites.
