Process Technician

This position is responsible for providing product engineering support to production lines and improving assembly processes.

• Improve and support production on existing products, processes, procedures and provide shop floor support as needed.
• Purchase, replenish, maintain and perform preventive maintenance on production tools and fixtures.
• Assist Product Engineer or facility to design and build fixtures. Support facility on layout and improvement projects.
• Send out facility service requests and follow‑up with facility until completion. Work with Product Engineering team on Kaizen projects (yield, cycle time, efficiency, automation, etc.), update product information on machine operation systems and resolve manufacturing issues promptly.
• Assist Product Engineer on New Product Introduction (NPI) implementation.
• Implement 6S improvement activities on the production floor.
• Maintain and carry out preventive maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot during breakdowns. Perform other duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of Tact Time Analysis, Lean production methods, Kanban, and lean manufacturing.
• Understanding of quality systems such as Six Sigma. AutoCAD drawing knowledge.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, problem‑solving, and prioritization skills.
• Proven ability to function independently and multitask. Ability to remain flexible in a dynamic work environment.
• Minimum Associate’s degree with 1 year of process, industrial, or manufacturing engineering experience.
• Associate degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred.
• Contract manufacturing experience is a plus.
