Project Engineer, Civil Engineering

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Plan, schedule and track project timelines, manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and devise contingency plans.
• Manage material purchase orders, subcontractor contracts and secure project subcontracts.
• Guide & coordinate field personnel and work with project superintendent.
• Attend weekly safety meetings and ensure safety plans are in place.
• Provide planning and scheduling of resource requirements for project technical tasks.
• Conduct engineering evaluations, provide design coordination to ensure client expectations and contract obligations are met.
• Produce reports to ensure technical consistency and inclusion of appropriate documentation.
• Requires master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Travel required within Houston Metropolitan (MSA).
