Weareinsearchof a Production Electronics Technician. The Production Electronics Technician supports Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering by testing, troubleshooting, and repairing circuit boards and systems. Performs tests necessary to debug, evaluate, and characterize analog, digital, embedded systems, and power circuitry. Analyzes and interprets test data to identify component and assembly-related problems. Modifies and repairs electrical prototypes, parts, assemblies, and systems to correct functional deviations.

This role will report to the Quality Manager and be based in Merrimack, NH.

Inthis roleyouwillget to:
  • Providetechnicalsupportfor Manufacturingacrossallproductlines.
  • Performmanufacturingtestofproductsandsubassemblies.
  • Applyknowledgeofelectronictheory,schematics,specifications,andtesttechniquesto isolate both product and PCB failures to lowest replaceable unit or component.
  • PerformreworkandrepairofSMTAndthrough-holePCBstoproductionqualitystandards.
  • Performfailureanalysisoffieldfailuresandreturnedproduct.
  • Assist Qualityininvestigatingprocessflawsandcomponentproblems.
  • Buildandmaintaintestfixturesincludingcables,breakoutboards,andtestloads.
  • Assist Engineeringincircuitdebug,evaluation,and characterization,andanalyzeand interpret test information to assist in resolution of design-related problems.

Job Requirements BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diplomaorequivalent (GED)1-2yearsofspecializedelectronicseducationOR 2+ years’ experience in both testing and troubleshooting electronic assembles to the component level.
  • Trained/certifiedinIPC-A-610andIPC-771/7721solderingandreworkqualitystandards.
ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS
  • Proficiencywithcommonlaboratoryequipmentincludingoscilloscopes,DMMs,andsignal generators.
  • Solidunderstandingofanalog,digital,embedded systems,andpowercircuitry,andability to troubleshoot PCBs and systems to the component level.
  • AbilitytosolderandinspectSMTassembliestoIPCstandards.
  • Goodverbalandwrittencommunicationskills
  • Abilitytoread,interpret,andunderstandschematics,BOMs,andotherengineering documents.
  • Competency with office productivity software such as Excel and Word
