Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily oversight, inspections, soil testing and reports for construction being performed at landfill sites.
- Oversight and inspection engineering management of landfill gas and landfill construction (new cells, liner installation and closures) to ensure compliance with design plans.
- Construction quality assurance (CQA) for compliance with drawings and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with General Contractors and Subcontractors for daily plan and scope of work being performed.
- Responsible for submitting a daily written and photo log reports.
- Marking up construction drawing/as-builts as needed.
- Provide daily and weekly updates to Engineering staff and CQA project management.

- Soil testing
- Minimum 2 years of experience on landfill construction projects.
- Valid driver’s license with a driving record in good standing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to read maps and construction plans.
- Strong oral presentation and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of geosynthetics and soils is a plus.
- Physical ability to drive (pick‑up truck), lift and carry equipment/mechanical components, and walk on uneven terrain while providing services under various weather conditions.
Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
