Job Description
SummaryThis role is ideal for a licensed or emerging Structural Engineer who enjoys designing and analyzing structural systems for a variety of residential, commercial, and development projects. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing structural designs, calculations, construction documents, and technical recommendations while collaborating closely with clients, architects, surveyors, and engineering teams. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, structural design expertise, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality engineering solutions.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Design structural systems and prepare engineering calculations for residential and commercial projects.
- Develop construction documents, plans, specifications, and technical reports.
- Perform structural analysis and evaluate design alternatives.
- Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, surveyors, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Conduct site visits and assist with construction administration activities.
- Review project plans to ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
- Support project schedules, budgets, and client communication efforts.
- Provide technical expertise throughout project development and execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis or related engineering discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain licensure.
- Experience with structural design and analysis software.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or related design tools.
- Knowledge of applicable building codes and structural design standards.
- Experience in residential, commercial, and land development projects preferred.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and project coordination skills.
