Civil Engineer; PE – Site Development

We are partnering with a growing engineering consulting firm seeking a Civil Engineer (PE) to join their expanding Site Development team. This opportunity offers the chance to work on a variety of commercial land development projects while helping shape the future growth of a highly visible department.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the technical side of engineering and project leadership responsibilities. The team is looking for a hands‑on engineer who wants to continue designing and managing projects while developing into a leadership role over time.

• Design and prepare commercial site development plans and construction documents
• Perform grading, drainage, utility, and site layout design
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously from design through construction
• Coordinate with clients, municipalities, consultants, and contractors
• Participate in permitting and agency coordination efforts
• Review environmental, geotechnical, traffic, and related engineering reports
• Support construction administration activities including RFIs, submittals, and site visits
• Conduct QA/QC reviews to ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables
• Mentor junior engineers and designers

Projects include a variety of commercial developments such as:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Active Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• 4+ years of civil engineering experience focused on site development or land development
• Strong experience with grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility design
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experience working with local municipalities and permitting agencies
• Strong communication and project management skills
