• Perform intermediate calculations under the supervision of a more senior engineer.
• Perform static and dynamic analyses utilizing software tools with supervision of a more senior engineer.
• Actively participate in designing buildings, building foundations, equipment platforms, pipe racks, and miscellaneous concrete and steel structures.
• Prepare quantities, cost estimates, and other supporting documentation for projects.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and endorsed industry codes and standards for all deliverables.
• Follow and ensure compliance with Kiewit Nuclear Solutions Quality Assurance.
• Support preparation of estimates, FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, and construction support activities.
• Support preparation of project design criteria, design calculations, and technical specification documents.
• Support structural department tools and workflows initiatives.
• Interface with designers and review drawings prior to sealing them.
• Comply with engineering and project change management requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (Master’s is an asset).
• EIT status (Passed PE exam is an asset).
• 1-4 years of structural engineering design experience.
• Familiarity with North American design codes.
• Good oral and written communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• SAP
  2000, STAAD Pro, general steel and concrete analysis and design.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed (
