Transportation Bridge Engineer – Houston, TX. Contribute to a wide variety of transportation infrastructure projects across multiple states and clients, with a primary focus on bridges, culverts, sign structures, and retaining walls in Texas. Work alongside experienced professionals who mentor early-career engineers and provide hands‑on training.

• Work under the guidance of Licensed Professional Engineers on transportation structures projects.
• Assist in the analysis and design of bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and related structural components.
• Support preparation of plans, specifications, and engineering calculations in accordance with AASHTO and state DOT standards.
• Utilize engineering software (Micro Station, Open Roads, or structural analysis tools) to support design and drafting tasks.
• Aid in the development of 3D models and structural layouts for transportation infrastructure projects.
• Assist with quantity take‑offs, cost estimating, and construction documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on projects including roadway, geotechnical, and hydrological analysis.
• Provide general project support across multiple assignments as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis preferred) from an ABET/EAC‑accredited program.
• Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification required or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 1–3 years of experience in transportation structures or structural design preferred.
• Familiarity with TxDOT DM‑4 and AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications is a plus.
• Experience with Micro Station, Open Roads Designer (ORD), Open Bridge or Civil 3D is beneficial but not required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively across teams.
• Eagerness to learn, grow, and develop technical expertise in transportation structures engineering.

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
