The organization supports a variety of OEM applications across industrial, automation, HVAC, medical, and related technical markets, with a strong focus on customized engineering solutions and manufacturing excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team supporting product design, manufacturing engineering, and sustaining engineering activities
  • Oversee engineering execution across the full product lifecycle, from concept and development through production launch and ongoing support
  • Partner cross‑functionally with commercial, operations, supply chain, quality, and product development teams to ensure alignment between engineering priorities and business objectives
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on manufacturing efficiency, product quality, process optimization, and operational scalability
  • Support development and implementation of engineering standards, processes, documentation, and change management procedures
  • Ensure engineering solutions are manufacturable, cost‑effective, and aligned with customer and operational requirements
  • Work closely with machining, fabrication, assembly, and production teams to support successful manufacturing execution and troubleshooting
  • Lead structured problem‑solving activities including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and production issue resolution
  • Support prototype development, validation activities, and transition into production environments
  • Contribute to strategic planning, resource allocation, prioritization, and engineering organization development
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, sustainability improvements, and operational efficiency enhancements
  • Foster a culture centered around accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
  • 7–12+ years of engineering experience within manufacturing, motion control, motors, automation, electromechanical assemblies, or industrial equipment environments
  • 3–5+ years of engineering leadership or management experience
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machining fundamentals, fabrication, and assembly operations
  • Experience supporting custom‑engineered products from concept through production
  • Proficiency in Solid Works or similar CAD platforms
  • Demonstrated experience working cross‑functionally with commercial teams, operations, manufacturing, and product development groups
  • Strong structured problem‑solving capabilities including root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Understanding of engineering process control, quality systems, and production documentation
  • Ability to balance process discipline with hands‑on operational execution
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with motion systems, motors, automation equipment, or electromechanical assemblies
  • Background supporting OEM customers and customized engineering solutions
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Exposure to industrial, HVAC, medical device, robotics, or automation‑related applications
  • Experience working within ISO‑regulated or quality‑driven manufacturing environments
  • Hands‑on involvement supporting production operations and shop‑floor troubleshooting
Key Success Traits
  • Strong technical leadership combined with business and operational awareness
  • Hands‑on engineering mindset with comfort operating in manufacturing environments
  • Ability to solve complex technical and organizational problems while maintaining process discipline
  • Collaborative leader capable of working effectively across engineering, commercial, and operations functions
