Job Duties- Design analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronic circuits for active medical devices and product development initiatives.
- Develop schematics and PCB layouts using Altium.
- Create low-power and battery-powered electronic solutions built around microprocessor architectures.
- Collaborate with firmware and embedded engineering teams to integrate hardware and software systems.
- Lead EMC and EMI compliance activities and support adherence to IEC 60601 standards.
- Support verification, validation, testing, and transition of products into manufacturing.
- Maintain technical documentation throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Contribute to engineering decisions that support product quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong experience in PCB and circuit design.
- Proficiency with Altium design tools.
- Experience developing embedded and microprocessor-based hardware.
- Background working within regulated and documentation-intensive industries.
- Knowledge of EMC, EMI, and compliance processes.
- Familiarity with IEC 60601 standards considered advantageous.
- Ability to work fully onsite and relocate or commute to Houston where applicable.
- Eligibility for H-1B transfer consideration where applicable.
