Senior Reservoir Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provides standard reservoir engineering support functions such as economics in PHDWIN, Lookbacks, Project Generation, Reserves, Capital Planning and Execution.
• Finds value in existing assets (Oklahoma Water floods and Conventional Fields) that, when executed, enhances our oil and gas performance and reserve base.
• Performs field studies with team members to identify upside reserve projects such as recompletions, drill well opportunities, and secondary water flood recovery projects for Capital Allocation Committee (CAC) consideration.
• Works with geologists, reservoir and production engineers, landmen, and field personnel to identify and manage the implementation and development of capital budget projects.
• Acts as Project Leader on designated capital budget projects, ensuring timely and cost‑efficient implementation.
• Monitors the performance of assigned properties to ensure production goals are met or exceeded.
• Maintains awareness of evolving industry practices and emerging technologies that maximize the economic recovery of the company’s oil & gas assets.
• Recognized by peers as a proficient engineer and mentors less experienced engineers and other technical professionals.
• MUST HAVE WATER FLOOD EXPERIENCE
• MUST BE PROFICIENT IN OFM SOFTWARE

• Water flood Experience is required.

• BS in Engineering (preferably Petroleum Engineering).
• 15+ years of reservoir engineering experience typically required.

• Typically works indoors in an office setting, with some traveling required to COGC’s region offices or other oil industry offices. Occasional travel to field operations is required.
• Required to temporarily move and handle as many as 20 heavy boxes to their office from the file room. These boxes contain large amounts of field & well files for their technical field study review.
