Eosol Group is seeking a qualified and experienced Electromecanic Supervisor – Photovoltaic Projects to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for overseeing and executing the electromechanical aspects of our solar energy projects, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. With a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, the ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of photovoltaic systems and project management principles.

This position is based in Texas, USA, and requires knowledge of local regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Supervision:
    Oversee all electromechanical activities on photovoltaic project sites, including the assembly of structures and trackers, installation of photovoltaic modules, and the setup of inverters, transformers, power centers, and substations.
  • Technical Execution:
    Direct and monitor the laying and connection of DC/AC cabling and grounding systems. Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with project plans, technical specifications, and industry standards.
  • Contractor Management:
    Coordinate and manage the performance of contractors and subcontractors involved in electromechanical work, ensuring their compliance with project requirements and timelines.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    Ensure strict adherence to applicable electrical and mechanical regulations in Texas, USA, including the National Electrical Code (NEC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, and other local regulations.
  • Progress Monitoring:
    Control the physical progress of electromechanical installations and provide support in the preparation of daily and weekly site reports.
  • Quality and Safety Assurance:
    Uphold and enforce quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards throughout all project phases. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Problem Solving:
    Assist in resolving technical interferences, deviations, and scope changes, working collaboratively with project stakeholders.
  • Cross-functional Coordination:
    Liaise effectively with engineering, planning, quality, and HSE departments to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Commissioning Support:
    Participate in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities as defined by the project scope.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electromechanical supervision, preferably within the renewable energy or photovoltaic sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and executing electromechanical installations on large-scale projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of photovoltaic systems, including structures, modules, inverters, and balance of system components.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical codes and standards, particularly NEC and OSHA.
  • Experience in coordinating and managing subcontractors.
  • Excellent understanding of project management principles and reporting.
  • Commitment to upholding rigorous quality, HSE, and environmental standards.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in relevant software for project management and reporting is a plus.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the USA and possess a valid driver's license.

Requirements Requisitos
  • Formación en Ingeniería Eléctrica, Mecánica, Electromecánica o carrera técnica afín.
  • 5+ años de experiencia en supervisión de obra electromecánica, preferentemente en proyectos fotovoltaicos.
  • Experiencia comprobable en proyectos solares en Texas, USA.
  • Conocimiento del Balance of Plant (BoP) en plantas fotovoltaicas.
  • Dominio en lectura e interpretación de planos eléctricos y mecánicos.
  • Conocimiento de normativas NEC, OSHA y estándares eléctricos de EE. UU.
  • Disponibilidad para trabajo en campo.
  • Visa vigente de Trabajo para USA
Deseable
  • Experiencia en proyectos EPC fotovoltaicos a gran escala.
  • Experiencia en subestaciones, media y alta tensión.
  • Conocimiento en pruebas eléctricas y comisionamiento.
  • Manejo de herramientas digitales de seguimiento de obra.
  • Inglés técnico (intermedio/avanzado).
